What does 30GB usage mean?


30GB usage allowance means the amount of data you can download or upload is capped at 30GB per month. Most plain text such as emails and websites only use tiny amounts, whereas gaming, video and music will use more. E.g. Your Broadband packages has 30GB limit and you want to download a Blu-ray movie of 10GB, that's one-third allowance down in one go.

On eir Fibre Advanced we charge €2.03 per 10GB of excess usage.
