Switching to eir

Moving to eir couldn't be easier. Check what speed and service is available at your address or current line, pick the broadband, TV, landline, or mobile bundle that suits you best and sign up online.

To seamlessly move your existing service, give us your UAN (Universal Account Number on your current provider's bill ) and your billing details when placing your order and we'll look after moving your service for you with no disruption. Once we have your details we'll confirm your install date within 3 working days of placing your order online.

*Note: If you are a Virgin Media customer you will need to contact them directly and give them your install date to cancel your service.

What are FREE Parental controls?

Our parental controls are Router-level controlled: meaning that all devices connected to the home Wi-Fi network will be automatically subject to any blocks set up. Set up parental controls

What does router level control let me do?

  • Protect all family members from inappropriate content
  • Tailor control based on the device or content category so the 18 year old has more freedom than the 10 year old
  • Set up the total number of Internet hours in a day or set specific times of the day when your child can be online
  • Block certain websites or restrict access

What is the contract length?

All of our broadband, TV and home phone bundles are subject to a minimum contract term of 12 months.
If you select mobile as part of your bundle a minimum contract term of 30 days for SIM only plans and 24 months for handset plans will apply.
