With you in mind, we've introduced Family Plans, the simple way to keep all of your family’s mobile plans under one roof whilst saving on your monthly bill. You can now add up to 5 mobile plans, for you and your family, as an eir Broadband customer.

Pick whichever plan suits each family member you want to add to your bill, there are SIM only or smartphone plans to choose from.

Your first mobile bill explained

Your first bill will be slightly higher than other bills as you are paying for more than one month of usage. This is because your first bill covers the period from when your service starts up until your first bill, as well as your price plan for the month ahead.

How do I change my payment details

If you wish to change the direct debit details we have on file for you, you can call our call centre on 1901. Alternatively you can send a request in writing by post to:

Please note we cannot accept these requests via email. If you are cancelling your direct debit we recommend you also cancel through your bank.

Controlling your Bill Pay spend

At eir Mobile, we want to make sure you are on the best value plan that suits you. To help you manage your monthly mobile spend and give you peace of mind, we'll let you know when your bill reaches a level of €250* or more for your monthly commitment and any additional calls, texts and data.

We'll send you an SMS when you have reached 75% of €250* and again at 95% of €250* so you can make a payment by credit card. If you don't make a payment, we will temporarily suspend your service (in most cases when you reach €250*) so that you can't incur any more additional charges.

However, you will still be able to receive calls and texts and make emergency calls if you need to. If you find that you are regularly going over this amount, please contact a member of our team so we can ensure you are on a plan that best suits your needs.

Terms and Conditions: Please note that the €250* notification amount is subject to change. You may also incur charges for out of tariff usage that may not be captured at the time of SMS notification.

*If you are a customer since December 2014 we will contact you when your bill reaches €200.

What happens to my deposit?

If you paid a deposit when signing up to eir Mobile the deposit will be automatically refunded to you in full on your 7th bill. It will appear as a credit on your bill.

How do I check my balance?

Bill Pay customers can check their remaining balances by texting the following to 50104

  • 'balance' to get remaining minutes and texts
  • 'data balance' to get remaining data

We will then text you back with details of your remaining balance.

How many family members can I add to my bill?

Subject to suitability, you can add up to 5 in total to your bill.

Plan Explained

  • Minutes and SMS included in your monthly allowance exclude International, Premium Rate and other Non-Geographic numbers unless stated otherwise. Our fair usage policy and costs outside your plan allowances can be found here
  • Existing customer promotional pricing is only available where your mobile plan is added your current fixed bundle
  • Adding eir Mobile to your existing bundle will restart your fixed bundle contract

Promotions Explained

Promotional prices available for existing eir customers adding mobile to their bundle is available until 30/06/17. After the promotion period the pricing will revert to standard price. Offer terms can be found here.
