You can upgrade if you've finished your original eir mobile contract or are coming to the end on a contract. Enter your mobile number above to check if your eligible for an upgrade.
Do I have to change my plan if I upgrade?
Not in all cases, but if you are on a very old plan we may request that you move to move to one of our new plans. Enter your number above and we’ll guide you through what plans are available to you.

Usage outside of you inclusive allowances will charged as follows
Additional Data – All plans – Up to 250 MB per day for 99c, 2c per MB thereafter
Voicemail – Free on all bill pay plans
Additional Minutes - 30c/Min

Fair Usage Policy
Unlimited minutes and SMS allowances where applicable are subject to a fair usage allowance of 45,000 minutes and 10,000 SMS.
Minutes and texts included in all plans can be used within the Republic of Ireland and EEA zone countries while roaming subject to fair usage. Calls and texts to Premium Numbers, International, and charges relating to roaming calls or texts to destinations outside of the EEA zone are excluded from inclusive plan allowances. Voicemail and eir to eir calls and texts while roaming are treated as a standard call or text and will be deducted from your inclusive plan allowances. Standard rates apply to usage in excess of these limits, see eir.ie for details. No carryover of unused allowance is permitted.
Data allowances if available at the time of roaming can be used while roaming in the EEA subject to fair use limits where applicable. EU roaming fair use allowance is calculated in like with Regulation (EU) No 531/2012 (as amended) and Data wholesale roaming price caps. Where the domestic data allowance has not been fully consumed but the fair use allowance has been fully consumed, a surcharge rate of €4.31 per GB/€0.0042 per MB (based on Regulated rate of €3.50 per GB excl. VAT) will apply until the domestic allowance has been fully consumed. Standard domestic rates apply thereafter.
International allowances apply to calls to countries in international bands 1-8
