eir announces the launch of €350 million Senior Secured Notes offering

Dublin, 6 June, 2016: eir announced today the launch of an offering by its subsidiary, eircom finance DAC of senior secured notes due 2022 in an aggregate principal amount of €350 million. The notes will be guaranteed on a senior secured basis by eircom Holdings (Ireland) Limited and certain of its subsidiaries, including eircom Limited (Jersey). Upon issuance, the notes and the guarantees will be secured by security interests over the same assets that secure eir’s senior facilities. The net proceeds of the offering will be used, together with cash on the balance sheet, to redeem in full the outstanding amount of eir’s existing 9.25% senior secured notes due 2020.
