Credit Insights is a database containing information on your payment performance. Providers of services who supply information on customer payment performance can check this database when you apply for their services in the future to help them assess your credit worthiness.

The information we share with Credit Insights includes name, address, date of birth and account details, which will include account history and balance owed. This data will be held on the Credit Insights database for 6 years from the date of the notification of arrears.

Please note: If you became an eir customer on or after 30th November 2016 or if you are an existing customer who entered into a new contract with us on or after 30th November 2016 information on your payment performance may be shared with the Credit Insights database if you allow your account to fall into arrears by not paying your bills in full and on time.

If you apply to us for bill-pay services, we may make searches about you on the Credit Insights database to help us to decide whether to accept your application.

What is traffic data?
