Your installation checklist

Make sure you have provided all eir with all necessary details

We require:

  • Eircode
  • Up to date email address
  • Mobile number
  • A secondary mobile number if you are not available

Make sure you are at the premises for the duration of your appointment window

If you are not available when the technician calls, you may have to reschedule your appointment

If the installation is taking place at a rented property

Make sure you have permission from the owner or landlord

If you live in an apartment or shared building

You need to contact the management company to arrange access for the technician

Clear any obstructions to overhead wires or blockage in ducting

If there are any trees or other large obstructions, call the Dangerous Plant team who can organise to clear it for you. This team can assist with issues like a leaning or fallen pole, tree removal, loose cabling or damaged manholes. Call the Dangerous Plant team at this number: 1850 245 424

Obstructions may result in the appointment being rescheduled
