Your step by step guide to switching to eir

Step 1

Once your order has been accepted you will enter a cooling off period. This is a 7-day period during which your order is held to allow for a change of mind. This is standard practice for all switch requests. If you wish to cancel your request during the cooling off period please email us

If you have ordered broadband we will check your line during this time to ensure it is suitable as not all lines are broadband compatible

Step 2

Once the cooling off period expires after 7 days, we will process your line switch. This includes contacting your current service provider on your behalf to switch over your line and line services. This can take up to 5/6 working days.

Step 3

Once you have returned to eir, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
