Your step by step guide to switching to eir

Step 1

Once your order has been accepted you will enter a cooling off period. This is a 7-day period during which your order is held to allow for a change of mind. This is standard practice for all switch requests. If you wish to cancel your request during the cooling off period please email us onlinewinback@eir.ie

If you have ordered broadband we will check your line during this time to ensure it is suitable as not all lines are broadband compatible

Step 2

Once the cooling off period expires after 7 days, we will process your line switch. This includes contacting your current service provider on your behalf to switch over your line and line services. This can take up to 5/6 working days.

Step 3

Once you have returned to eir, you will receive a confirmation email from us.
