The Group is currently constructing Ireland’s largest fibre broadband network that will reach 1.9 million homes and businesses in the next five years. Launched in May 2013, the network now reaches 1.2 million homes and businesses and is the cornerstone of eir’s €2.5 billion strategic investment programme.

eir’s mobile  division operates as eir Mobile. In 2013, the Group was the first operator to launch 4G services in Ireland. It has spent more than €300m on improved 3G mobile services and high-speed 4G mobile broadband for customers.

Open eir is the largest wholesale operator in Ireland, providing products and services to more than 40 wholesale customers and 400,000 end users, across a range of regulated and unregulated markets.
